Lashmi is the latest addition to the Chaudhury lab with a unique blend of scientific expertise and managerial experience. She brings valuable insights from her previous role as Franchise Manager for Digestive Health Care at Kenvue (formerly Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health) in Sweden, where she honed her leadership and organizational skills over six years in the corporate sector. After transitioning from the corporate world, Lashmi is now leveraging her scientific training and managerial acumen to make an impactful contribution to the Chaudhury Lab. She earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from OIST Japan, under the mentorship of Professor Tomoyuki Takahashi, where her research focused on understanding the roles of actin and microtubules in high fidelity synaptic transmission
